Batching and Data Entry Clerk

Position Overview:

The batching function of the position requires the individual to sort, prepare and batch business information source documents, invoices and other receipts and income information to conform to our established written procedures and sorting, classification format.

The data entry function of the position requires the individual to data enter the batched by chart-of-account business source documents bundles, into a custom business computer program designed in Microsoft Excel.

Skills required

This data entry function requires the individual to key numeric data using the keyboard numbers pad.  As a result, the successful individual must have above average numbers key-pad data entry skills and be willing to demonstrate such skills as part of a pre-employment data entry skills verification test.

In addition the individual will be required to demonstrate their MS-Excel skill working with a workbook with multiple worksheets and navigating around the various worksheets.

Generally, the individual must be a fast learner, with above average reading and comprehension skills with an aptitude for figures, with some knowledge of bookkeeping principles, its objective in business and the importance of accuracy in the quality of information needed in business and tax compliance.

Location:

Successful candidate must live in Barbados and can produce a valid Barbados ID Card and NIS#.
