Information Data Entry Clerk
Position Overview
The clerk will be requires to prepare the documents and information
for data entry, by sorting the business information source
documents, invoices and other receipts and income information into
chart-of-account categories to conform with our custom GL accounts
and established written procedures.
The data entry function of the position requires the individual to
data enter the batched by chart-of-account business source
documents, into a customized Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program.
Skills required
This data entry function requires the individual to key numeric data
using the keyboard numbers pad. As a result, the successful
individual must have above average numbers key-pad data entry skills
and be willing to demonstrate such skills as part of a
pre-employment data entry skills verification test.
In addition the individual will be required to demonstrate their
MS-Excel skill working with an Excel workbook with multiple
worksheets and navigating around the various worksheets.
Generally, the individual must be a fast learner, with above average
reading and comprehension skills with an aptitude for figures.
Some knowledge of bookkeeping principles will be an asset.
The successful individual will be required to consistently deliver
accurate high quality data entry work. As a result of the nature of
our business, work quality less then 100% accurate will not be
acceptable.
