We provide you with a suite of reports by email each quarter, designed to bring more meaning to the business information and the bottom-line.

If you do not have email access, these will be sent by mail or courier.  A postage or courier fee will apply.

These customized reports will allow you to easily make sound business decisions that are financially driven and/or to easily present your business case for financing, as required, with your Bank or other financing institutions.. 

Quarterly Financial Reports:

  • Operating Analysis Report. This report includes:

Management reports available on request each quarter or anytime during the business year.

If applicable, based on the service level agreement, the following reports will be available on request. 

  • Subcontract Drivers Details and Cost Analysis

  • WSIB Subcontract Driver Insurable earnings and premiums paid report

  • If Drivers are on payroll instead of subcontractors available reports include:

    • Payroll Audit

    • Pay Activity

      • By Month

    • Year-end Payroll reports

      • T4 and/or T4a Summary

In the event of an accident resulting in downtime and your insurance requires a financial report to support your claim for downtime, we will provide the following.

  • Accident Downtime Report and Analysis

    • Insurance claim support format

    • Tax management format

Special 3rd Quarter Financial Report

This financial report is designed for tax planning purposes. This will provide you with estimated pre-year-end potential tax payable information, to alert you to the potential tax payable come year-end.

On receiving this report, if there is a amount shown as potential tax payable, contact us to discuss your tax shelter or reduction strategy. 

Tax Audit Management Reports

It is a fact that your business and your tax returns will be selected at some time for audit by CRA.  As a result, in preparation for an audit in advance, Trucktax designed the following reports customized into your accounting system.

This way, in the event of an audit, any or all of the following reports can be easily provided to the auditor to support most or all of the targeted audit areas of your business.

These reports are designed to simplify the audit process and potentially allow most audits to conclude as a desk audit with little or no participation on your part.  However, our standard audit support fee could apply.

 These Reports Include:

  • GST/HST Detailed Audit Summary

  • GST/HST-ITC earned by Expense Category

  • Diesel Fuel Purchase Summary and Analysis

    • Fuel Purchased with GST/HST Out

    • Fuel Purchased with GST/HST paid

    • Fuel Purchased in the USA

    • GST/HST-ITC lost report on U.S. Fuel Purchases

  • GL Summary

  • Home office Expense with business % claimed report

  • Support Vehicle Expense with business % claimed
    report

At your Business Year-End

You will receive a financial reports package that includes:

  • Balance Sheet

  • Profit Loss Statement

  • Operating analysis 

In addition, if business is a corporation, we will prepare the corporation tax return and send this to you by E-mail to be signed and mailed to CRA.

If you do not have email access, these will be sent by mail or courier and will include a copy for your files. A postage or courier fee will apply.

At the Personal Tax Year-END  

We will prepare the Personal Tax Return for you and your spouse and send these to you by email to be signed and mailed to CRA.
