This information when received is to be be stored in the format provided until required to support
future audits.
The original source documents we send you, are returned in special document storage briefcase,
batched, numbered and labeled by General Ledger (GIFI) chart-of-accounts.
In addition, there
will be
a copy of
the business year-end operating statement, including a special GST/HST
audit support detail report by expense category and summary to
support GST/HST returns filed for the year.
Included will be a
copy of the return filed with the CRA return received confirmation
number.
As part of the
document return procedure, is our document storage cover letter
regarding CRA's record retention requirement.
