Managing the business year-end
The business
year-end is a time when we like to double check that nothing has
been missed that should be included in the financial statement and
tax returns.
Our experience
indicates that sometimes as a result of the demands on the
Owner-Operator, from driving, to servicing the truck and preparing
all of the paperwork required to remain legal on the road today,
some information sometimes gets missed.
To eliminate that
potential, we have a special year-end business information
verification form to be used by our clients at their business
year-end to verify information we may already have, and/or as a way
of reminding clients of information they overlooked to provide.

print the form. Complete all the sections that are applicable to
your business and fax the form to us at the fax number on the form.
Year-end Procedures – Corporation Tax clients:
At the business year-end, if the business is a corporation, the
corporation tax return is prepared and
emailed to you, with instructions to be printed, signed and mailed
to CRA.
Year-end Procedures – Proprietorship clients:
Similarly, if your business is operated as a proprietorship
(not a corporation) the personal tax return is prepared and emailed
to our client to print, sign and mail to CRA at the address provided
in our instructions cover letter.
Personal Tax Procedures for Corporation Tax Clients:
The personal tax returns would be prepared for the corporation owner
manager and spouse and emailed to the client, to be printed, signed
and mailed to CRA.
NOTE:
For
client who do not currently have access to a computer
with Internet and e-mail, we will you tax returns by mail or
courier. However, the postage or courier cost will be at your
expense.

If you
are a new client and this will be the first year that we will be
preparing your personal tax return, please click on the form link

In
addition, please use the form link below to access and print a copy
of our new client Tax information organizer. This form is
designed to be used as a checklist to help you easily pull together
all of the information and tax deductible information slips needed
to prepare your tax return.
Alternatively, you can save time by using our online personal
information form. This form is a capture and deliver
information form so the information sent is not stored on the web.
